Our 2016 ‘Give Them the Bird’ turkey drive was a great success!
I want to take a moment to thank our corporate and individual supporters who helped us reach our goal of fundraising $14,000. We coordinated the fundraising, purchasing, and delivery of 1400 frozen turkeys plus we made two deliveries to the Food Pantry mid-November. We donated a total of 1,100 turkeys to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County! This was an amazing result. Each turkey serves a family of four – which means 4,000 meals for families that otherwise would not have had such a nutritious holiday meal. We couldn’t have done this without you!
